James joined the company after completing a degree in Building Surveying at Reading University and runs several medium and large contracts.

Colin Perkins

Colin joined the company in July 2014 to head-up our small works and maintenance teams. In a past life, Colin has worked for a former local building competitor and a local swimming pool specialist. Colin’s experience has helped to develop and expand an essential part of our building service. In his spare time, Colin enjoys the odd game of hockey.




Geoff Freeth

Prior to joining us in September 2016, Geoff was Estimating Manager at Wilding Butler Construction Ltd for 13 years, where he was responsible for the estimating function of a general contractor with turnover varying from £4m to £14million working across the whole industry, both new build and refurbishment and with skill in the education sector.
Initially trained as a Quantity Surveyor at Reema Construction Ltd, later Hall & Tawse Construction Ltd, and progressing to the position of Managing Surveyor on a variety of new-build and refurbishment projects over a 15-year span, Geoff then moved across to take up the post of Chief Estimator for the newly created social housing division, Hall & Tawse Partnership Ltd. Following a successful tender for a volume housing project, Geoff spent 3 years as Project Director, running a region office in Kent to deliver nearly 2000 new affordable homes.
Geoff has a keen desire to promote the construction industry as a positive career choice for young people and has recently been appointed a Construction Ambassador for CITB.


Sara Webb - Surveyor

Sara joined the company in 2003, having previously worked for several family run building contractors as a Quantity Surveyor, Small Works Estimator and Contracts Manager.  Sara has been working in the construction industry for twenty years and has been involved in both new build and refurbishment projects for a large variety of clients in both the private and public sectors, both domestic and commercial.

James Brodrick - Estimator/Surveyor

James joined the company in the summer of 2012 and has been working as a Contract Manager/Surveyor for the last 12 years. He has a HNC in Construction and Interior Skills from Basingstoke College of Technology and holds current SMSTS and CSCS qualifications. James specialises in restoration projects ranging from £500k to £2.5m and has successfully completed a number of Ecclesiastical projects whilst also assisting with contracts for the National Trust and English Heritage. Away from the office, James is a keen mountain biker and can be found most weekends on some remote hillside in the countryside. James also works as a children’s football manager and assistant Cub leader in his spare time.

Nigel Barber

In recognition of Moulding’s determination to achieve compliance in all areas of Health & Safety, we have now appointed a fully employed H&S manager.
Nigel joined the company in February 2017 with the task of providing full-time support to our existing external audit processes and staff training.
Nigel is a vastly experienced construction manager across the whole construction industry. Prior to joining Mouldings, Nigel was a Project Manager at Wilding Butler Construction Ltd for over 15 years, managing construction projects valued between £0.5m to £5m. His desire to ensure a safe working environment for all operatives and staff under his control, lead to a particular interest in Health & Safety and CDM procedures.


David Russell - Contracts Manager / Surveyor

David joined the company in 2001 after working extensively for two major national contractors and local building companies.  David is an Associate Member of CIOB.



Jon Kay - Contracts Manager

Jon started with Mouldings in September 2011 and embarked on an NVQ level 3 Site Carpentry Apprenticeship, achieving outstanding results. To advance his career in the industry, Jon started a surveying course in September 2014 and achieved a BTEC HNC in Quantity Surveying in July 2016. Having established himself as a very capable carpenter, Jon moved from site into our offices in September 2015 to pursue the position of contracts manager.
Jon is a very talented rugby player for Salisbury 1st XI and regularly plays at number 6 or 7. Although very mild mannered off the field, Jon’s fearsome reputation has earned him the name ‘Assassin’ on the field of play!
