Established in 1798, Salisbury builders R Moulding & Co have long had a reputation for high standards.
Eight Generations of Building since 1798
R.Moulding & Co. is a family owned and family managed business based in South Newton, just outside the cathedral city of Salisbury. Bill and Tim Moulding are the current working co-owners of the business.
We pride ourselves on our dedication to our clients and the quality of the work we do, as you would expect from a family business with over two hundred years of history and experience.
During the reign of George III, William Moulding established himself as a Master Mason in 1798 in the Wiltshire village of Aldbourne. During his lifetime, he developed a building business that has successfully transitioned through eight successive generations, 9 monarchs, two World Wars and over two centuries of trading. William Moulding’s 2nd Great Grandson, Richard, moved the business to the village of South Newton in the early 20th Century from which it still trades today, under the same family ownership and management.
As well as the three company directors, Tim, Bill Moulding and Robert Begg, we have seven surveyors and contracts managers and one full time estimator.
We have ten site based supervisors and five travelling supervisors (for our small works and term contracts/painting).
